Casey Calvert, born Sarah Goldberger, was born on March 17, 1990 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. She grew up in a strictly religious Jewish family, where she followed traditions from childhood and regularly attended the synagogue. Over time, her family converted to Reform Judaism, which made attending religious services less frequent. In 2012, Casey graduated with honors from the University of Florida, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in film production, and also expanded her knowledge by studying zoology and anthropology.

While still a student, Casey began to try herself as a fetish model and model. She took her pseudonym "Casey Calvert" in honor of Professor Clay Calvert, who taught her a course on media law, which inspired her to pursue a career in the adult industry.
